Internet Fail/Eastern State Penitentiary

So I've had a severe lack of internet for the last couple of weeks which explains my lack of posting. I've been so busy unpacking and getting the new apartment settled that it's been hard to get some real shooting in but yesterday I got the surprise opportunity to go to Eastern State Penitentiary.
Being a person who loves to focus on textures and architecture I was basically in heaven. I know it's not an original place to shoot but it was still truly inspiring. Hope you all enjoy!!!

First photo post!!!

So this is my first official post of photos. And I'm kind of excited. Recently I bought myself a Nikon D5000. I'm not big on digital photography but it seems almost impossible to make it in the photography world today without a DSLR. These are a few of the first photos I took with my camera at the Philadelphia Zoo on August 2nd 2010. I'm still learning all of it's little tricks and such but these photos were taken with a Nikkor 55-200mm VR zoom lens which is a pretty decent beginners lens. Hopefully I'll be able to work up enough money to buy a fancier lens but for now this is what I have so enjoy!!

Hello one and all!!!

(as in myself because I'm currently the only one with knowledge of this blog)

So I decided I wanted to start to get some of my work out there for the world to see so I'm starting this blog to do it! It's mostly going to be comprised of my recent works but you never know if something old might pop up. I also will be posting other artist's work as inspiration but I will make sure there are no copyright infringements. I suppose this is the end to my little rant. Hopefully I'll be posting some work up soon and I definitely appreciate all the feedback I can get. Thanks and welcome to my world!
